Sr. Elaine Great PictureDuring her more than 50 years of service with the Sisters of Bon Secours, Sr. Elaine was a Registered Nurse and/or nurse practitioner at Bon Secours facilities in Methuen, Massachusetts; Baltimore, Maryland; Richmond and Portsmouth, Virginia; and Port Charlotte, Florida. She worked as a nurse practitioner in rural areas around Richmond and at Bon Secours Maryview Hospital, where she started the Elm Avenue Center for Health. She also opened the Clínica de Ayuda in Arcadia, Florida, caring for migrant farm workers.

Presently Sr. Elaine is a nurse practitioner at Access Carroll in Westminster, Maryland and St. Francis Outreach Center at Bon Secours Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. In addition, she serves as the Formation Director for the Sisters of Bon Secours and Circle of Community Coordinator for the congregation’s community in Marriottsville. Previously, she was the Vocation Director and has served in other leadership positions throughout her years in community. She is a board member of Bon Secours Health System and Bon Secours Hampton Roads as well as the National Religious Formation Conference.
