Our flag flies at half mast today to honor Rep. Elijah E. Cummings, (D.) Md., who died last week. The Sisters of Bon Secours join the nation in mourning the loss of Rep. Cummings, a true statesman and humanitarian. He worked alongside and supported the Sisters of Bon Secours, giving Good Help to Those in Need in some of Baltimore’s most economically disadvantaged and underserved neighborhoods. We were always so grateful for his presence. He will be missed, but his legacy will live on well into the future.
