Faithful in all Things

“Believe me there is nothing like being faithful to God and preserving in good,

once we have undertaken to do so. ‘Because you have been faithful in a little, I

will place you over much.’

Let us then be faithful – faithful in the observance of the holy customs of our community, faithful in the observance of the good works we have undertaken.

In short, let us be faithful in all things. And what will be the result?

The result will be that we shall advance in virtue from day to day,

like the little grain of mustard seed which, though very small,

yet grows into a great tree in the course of time.

So I hope that if our community is faithful … it will advance little by little in God’s grace.”
