In March 2105, two new groups of women in Huancayo, Peru, were trained and commissioned as “Water Women,” which means they are new owners & stewards of household water filters from the Water with Blessings program.  A cooperative outreach of the Sisters and Associates of Bon Secours, the goal is to enhance health and wellness in under-provided communities where the Sisters and Associates serve in Peru.

Three groups of women have now been trained, providing over 30 families with safe, potable drinking water for their household cooking, drinking and bathing needs.
