Joyce McCracken

My name is Joyce McCracken.  For 12 years I worked for Bon Secours Health System, beginning at Washington Village Community Medical Center in Baltimore in 1996 and moving up to the hospital in 2001.  During my time at Bon Secours I continued my education and earned my Bachelors Degree in 2007. After I started to work at the hospital, I came to know another Associate, who invited me to attend an Associates’ gathering. It has been my pleasure to get to know the Sisters and to become an Associate.  Being an Associate has been a wonderful journey. I have learned so much from the Sisters. This is a journey that does not end. I am grateful for all the Associates and I want to thank everyone for the love I have received from all of you. I try to live the charism of the Sisters by presenting myself in a humble and loving way to all I am in contact with.  I still have many struggles ahead, but life is good.  I am grateful to the Associates for giving me my spiritual stability.  They are my rock, and without them my life would be very unsettled. I no longer work for Bon Secours but they are still with me each day. I have worked for about 2 years at a company that designs loudspeakers and personal audio products. I would still like to learn a language someday, maybe soon.
