As part of our Associate Spotlight series, Associate Laura Bowes said, “I wanted to use this opportunity to highlight my son Anthony Bowes and some of his accomplishments from the past 2 years!”

Anthony is a Fine Artist, and travels to and participates in nationally recognized art shows. Last year he sold out his entire wall of paintings at one of the largest painting events in the country called “En Plein Air Texas.” He’s been invited back to Texas this year and I will be attending the event for the opening night “Collectors Stampede” Sale.

He is also very involved inside of our community and raised $2,000 earlier this year for two wonderful Richmond organizations by auctioning off one of his paintings. The money was split between the James River Park System and a scholarship fund that goes towards sending less fortunate kids to Passages Adventure Camp.

He’s also won, “Peoples Choice Award,” and an “Honorable Mention” during another painting event in Harford MD. He’s been featured as the “Best Artist Under 30” by Plein Air Magazine and a “Young Artist to Collect Now” in Southwest Art Magazine.”
