Our JPIC USA committee just met with the Sisters of Bon Secours leadership team and goals for 2025 are approved! And they are ambitious. 

We need your help to make sure these ambitions can happen! 

Here are just three of our goals:

1. Response to the cry of the Poor 
   1. Communicate existing initiatives related to gun violence prevention, providing education for de-escalating violence, engaging the Bon Secours community in advocacy to reduce gun violence. 
   2. Share education information regarding Human Trafficking in Maryland and Virginia. 
   3. Support ongoing efforts from Water with Blessings (Water by Women) and provide opportunities for local engagement with staff and community. 
2. Response to Ecological Education 
   1. Collaborate with sponsored ministries of the Sisters of Bon Secours to expand ecological spirituality and educational reach.
   2. Construct and maintain a Laudato Si Free library on the Marriottsville campus.
3. Response to Ecological Spirituality 
   1. Host an ecological spirituality book club.
