During this season of gratitude, we invite you to pray with us in thanksgiving for God’s many gifts and blessings.  The prayer below, created by the 2013-2014 BSVM community, is a beautiful expression of this gratitude. 

O God, your love consumes everything around us.  Help us to be present in every moment and to see the beauty of life. Grant us the mindfulness to walk without a destination, give without expecting a return, love without boundaries. 

Thank you for the moments our brothers and sisters let us peak into their souls, allowing us to see how beautiful we all are as together we wonder and wander through your maze of unexpected love.

Thank you for the joy and laughter of community, for the varied perspectives, ideas and opinions that we all bring.  May we continue to grow closer to you and our true selves by being mindful and open to the challenges and love that come from our sameness and our differences.

Thank you, God, for helping us to see each other’s authentic selves and for loving the person that we see.
