What is your favorite song, artist, book, or author and why does it speak to you?

 I love the Harry Potter series because of the lessons it teaches us as we deal with the constant battle between good and evil. Beyond the wise quotes of the series’ protagonists, Harry Potter teaches us to not judge a book by its cover, to include all, and to never underestimate the power of love — especially in the face of evil.

In my free time, I love to run, watch the news and movies, read biographies and fantasy, and spend time playing sports or solving the world’s problems with friends and neighbors. I also like to visit my parents on the Northern Neck and other old friends as much as I can.
