We are delighted to announce that Sister Pat Dowling, the Sisters of Bon Secours Vocation Director is holding monthly chat room sessions on Sisters Chat Room this year. It is in response to the many questions single women today ask about religious life.
So what is religious life all about? Can anyone become a sister? Do I have to have a theology degree? What is a contemplative community? What is an apostolic community? These and many more questions as posed by you Sr. Pat will answer, along with guests, in a lively chat each month.
You will be amazed at what you will learn about the life of a Sister and the many joys and challenges that God has in store for those called to religious life. There is much to treasure in dedicating your life to God, especially the personal relationship you build with God and the support of your fellow sisters. The awesome experience of helping others. You may be challenged but you are never alone! You will be led to places you never dreamed of and find gifts you didn’t know you had.
