We asked Kelly Flynn (BSVM 2020-2021) what she learned through her year of learning through service with others. Hear what she shared about relationships (or read her response in the transcript below):

Kelly: “I think through my year with BSVM I have learned a lot about the importance of longevity and how being in the community and forming long-term relationships is really key to service learning. That way it’s not transactional; you’re invested in the community, and you’re invested in the people you’re around, and you’re able to really form relationships with people who you will see weekly or even daily. I think that’s a testament to how BSVM works with their sites and their ability to create relationships.”
